My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed practice; but I never lose sight of the human being in front of me. Together, we’ll simplify the process, focus on what matters, and build the internal “muscle” needed to move through distress and uncertainty with intention, strength, and self-compassion.

How I Work
Many of my clients come to therapy when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change. Our work together focuses on both building insight and strengthening the inner resources that help you move forward.
I provide teletherapy for adults in Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, Utah, and Tennessee, bringing over 15 years of experience as a clinical social worker, educator, and trauma-informed consultant. My work is centered on trust, clarity, and keeping the process focused on what matters most to you.
Everything I do is grounded in a trauma-informed and strengths-oriented framework, which recognizes both the impact of past experiences and the resilience that has helped you navigate them. In our work together, I prioritize emotional safety, empowerment, and choice while also highlighting the inner resources you already carry.
In sessions, I draw from research-supported methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches, adapting them to your unique story. A core focus of my work is attachment—the ways early relationships shape how we relate to ourselves and others. These patterns are survival strategies—ways we learned to adapt and get our needs met. When they no longer serve us, therapy offers a space to notice, shift, and rewire them with compassion.
I support clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, work stress, and major life transitions. Much of our work includes understanding how the past continues to echo in the present, while also developing more secure, connected, and empowered ways of moving through life. Growth happens gradually—through awareness, reflection, and intentional choices about how you want to engage with yourself and others.
What You Can Expect
Therapy with me is practical, strengths-focused, and compassionate. You’ll find a space where you are understood, supported, and encouraged to move at your own pace. Together, we’ll:
Build awareness of the patterns that have shaped your life
Explore which strategies still serve you—and which are ready to shift
Develop tools to navigate distress with resilience, clarity, and self-compassion
Strengthen the inner resources that help you move toward growth and healing
Like building a muscle, growth happens gradually—through practice, repetition, and patience. Over time, the new skills we work on together can become stronger, more natural, and part of the way you live your daily life.
Because therapy isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about reconnecting with who you’ve always been.
